Church offers weekly LGBT Bible study

OGDEN — Congregational United Church of Christ is offering a weekly Bible study for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their allies. The public is welcome to attend.

The Rev. Gage Church leads the study, which examines the passages that are often seen as critical of gay people. The sessions will also explore other parts of the Bible to find sources of encouragement and respect for all of God’s people.

The study meets from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays from now into November at the church, 3350 Harrison Blvd., behind and up the hill from the Key Realty building.

Call the church office 801-392-5012 or check ogdenucc.org for more information.
